Earth Cycle

Essential Questions:

How are the rock, carbon, water cycles connected to the hydrosphere, lithosphere, atmosphere and biosphere?

Earth has different kind of Cycle.Rock, Carbon, Water Cycle  they all connected each other to the Hydrosphere, Lithosphere, Atmosphere and Biosphere. The Cycle doesn't have any ending. Cycle keep going in this earth.

           Hydrosphere:
Hydrosphere, which means water, That connected to all three cycles. By Weathering igneous rock break down into sediments, and  than erosion moves the sediments to ocean , river, lakes. The Producers also take water from groundwater, and produce O2 that call  (photosynthesis). Consumers take oxygen, than its make  carbon dioxide. After the consumer  die, decomposers break down the organism, and it become fossil fuel, the fossil is type of  sedimentary rock.  When the precipitation happen, water runoffs to soil, and goes into underground, and become groundwater. So all those cycle connected to each other and hydrosphere.
          Lithosphere:
lithosphere means land/soil, that also connected to all three cycles. When the  precipitation happens, water runoffs and goes into  soil/land. The plant take water from underground. The Plants need those cycle to growing, and it produce oxygen, When rock structure from sedimentary rock to metamorphic rock, it happens from underground, there also include compaction and cementation. These how lithosphere connected.
          Atmosphere
Atmosphere, that means air,gas connected to all three cycles. The carbon cycle is a part of the ocean, air and rock cycle too. In the atmosphere carbon is attached to oxygen in a gas call CO2 with getting heat from sun, this process call photosynthesis.  Also  when factory burns fossil fuel it  produce CO2 into atmosphere, and that call  CO2 emission. And the sunlight also heat the water from ocean and plant. That turn into water vapor, and makes cloud, this process call condensation. Those three cycles are connected to atmosphere.
          Biosphere:
Biosphere, which means all living thing in the earth. Consumers and Producers are living organism. They always  produce oxygen and CO2. The plants also need water and take from  groundwater to survive and growing up. And also too much hot temperature can destroy neighboring living things. So, there is also all three cycle connected to biosphere.

How are the three cycles connected to each other?

The Sunlight heat help to get energy, the carbon cycle stocks the energy for evaporation  thats the water cycle. From rain any kind of water form goes underground and consumers use the groundwaterWeathering breaks down the rock into sediments, and it erosion moves the sediment to ocean/rivers. Then  sediments into sedimentary rock and metamorphic rock.  Precipitation also give water to producers, that use to produce oxygen, and they exchanges CO2 from consumers. After the consumer die, they turn into fossil. Fossil is type of sedimentary rock. In conclusion, that's how all three cycles are connected to each other.

Earth Cycle

Rock Cycle
1. How does a metamorphic rock become a sedimentary rock?
Answer: When the metamorphic rock cool down than weathering break down the sediments its became compaction cementation.
2. How does magma change into a metamorphic rock
Answer: Lava
              ^
            Crystallization(cooling)
              ^
            Igneous rock
              ^
            Heat/Pressure

lava comes up crystallization happens. Than the magma cool down and its become igneous rock. After that by heat / pressure igneous rock turn into metamorphic rock
Carbon Cycle
3. How does a consumer become a fossil fuel
Answer: Consumers
                ^
              dies
                ^
              Decomposer( break down)
                ^
              Fossil Fuel
When the consumers die, the organism break down by decomposers and this process call decomposition. Then that turn into fossil fuel
4. How can a fossil fuel be used in photosynthesis
Answer: Consumption
                ^
             Carbon dioxide Emissions
                ^
             Carbón dioxide
                ^
             Photosynthesis

The fossil fuel burn by factories. That produces CO2 and its call CO2 emission. The consumption produce CO2 to the atmosphere, and producers also use sunlight than CO2 produce oxygen that call photosynthesis.
Water Cycle
5. How does lake water (liquid) turn into a cloud?
Answer: Sun light
            ^
       Evaporation/Transpiration
            ^
       Water Vapor
            ^
       Condensation
            ^
         Cloud
The sunlight heats the water from rivers, lake, ocean that process call evaporation. The sun heat that take water from plants this process call transpiration. Those water turn into water vapor
6. How can a cloud turn into groundwater
Answer: Cloud
                ^
             Precipitation
                ^
             Infiltration
                ^
              Run-Off
                 ^
              Groundwater
when the clouds get heavy they can't hold anymore water  than its turn into rain that call precipitation. Then , water runoffs to soil. After next the water goes into ground that call infiltration and becomes groundwater.

Water Cycle

                                                             REFLECTION
1. WHAT DID YOU ENJOY MOST ABOUT THIS PROJECT AND WHY?

ANswer: I enjoy most the project is learning about cycle that always happen around the Earth. My topic is water cycle. I most enjoy taking pictures.

2. WHAT WAS MOST CHALLENGING FOR YOU DURING THIS PROJECT AND WHY?

ANswer: The most challenging part for me during this project that is making QUIZ about our cycle. Its was hard because I  had  to make QUIZ in my own words.

3.WHAT NEW SKILLS DID YOU LEARN FROM DOING THIS PROJECT?

ANswer: Doing this project i learn a lot about the earth cycle. I also learn how to make QUIZ about a topic in my own words.

4. IS THERE ANYTHING THAT YOU COULD HAVE DONE TO IMPROVE ANY OF YOUR WORK? EXPLAIN:

ANswer: During this project i had lots of problem. I finished  my work with everything on time, But someone deleted my video three times from the iMovie. After that i made again on Animoto but its not looked good, i did again on Animoto coz we don't have time to do at school because class work time was finish thats why i had to do it on Animoto at home than the next day i download the video on iMovie. It was good after i put the video on Vimeo  my all title gone expect few lines but i don't have time to do it again that's why I posted it on blog. I want to improve my video. I want to make it perfectly without anything missing.
